BlueVPS OĆ is a hosting company with 8 years on the market, looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to join our technical support team.
Technical requirements:
- Strong command of Linux/Unix CLI and core distributions ā CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu. FreeBSD, pfSense, or MikroTik CHR knowledge is a plus
- Confident Windows Server user ā 2012, 2016, 2019, and Windows 10
- Solid knowledge of Apache, PHP-FPM, Nginx, MySQL, BIND/Named, KVM/QEMU, OpenVPN. Familiarity with Exim, Dovecot, PostgreSQL, Zabbix, Nagios, or Pure-FTPd is a plus
- Hands-on experience with HW RAID (MegaRAID, 3ware), SW RAID (mdraid), and standard networking tools: SSH, iptables, tcpdump, MTR, rsync, dig, smartctl, cron, git
- Ansible or Juniper EX4200 experience is a bonus
- Virtualisation experience: SolusVM, Docker, ESXi, or Proxmox is a plus
- Bash scripting skills required. Basic PHP scripting or code-reading ability is a plus
- IPMI/iDRAC/iLO familiarity required
- Experience with control panels (HestiaCP, cPanel, DirectAdmin, ISPmanager, Virtualmin, DCImanager) or Cloudflare/GitLab is a plus
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking stack
- Comfortable working in shifts
General requirements:
- English at Pre-Intermediate level or above (reading and writing), Ukrainian and Russian
- Background in technical support and system administration
- Experience with troubleshooting, log analysis, and scripting
- Fast learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
