    Tell us about your organization, project, audience, and technical needs using the form at the bottom of this page. Applications for personal websites are not reviewed.

    We review it

    3-5 business days. We check the organization, the live project, and the technical requirements. We reply only to applications that pass the review.

    Get access

    If approved, we agree on where BlueServers will be acknowledged. Then credentials and a setup guide arrive by email. The server is already provisioned.

  • ―  04
    Build and grow

    The server is yours to use. Once a year we confirm the project is still active, eligible, and the acknowledgment is in place.

  • What server configurations are available? arrow faq

    Most approved projects receive a VPS, starting from 1 vCPU / 1 GB RAM. A dedicated server is provided only when the application shows a load a VPS cannot handle. Specify current traffic, data volume, or computation needs in numbers.

  • How long is the server provided for? arrow faq

    The server is provided for 1 year with the option to renew. Once a year we ask you to confirm that the project is still active and meets the program requirements.

  • Can the project be monetized? arrow faq

    Partial monetization is acceptable if it is not the primary purpose. Voluntary donations are fine. Paid access, subscriptions, or advertising as primary revenue is not eligible for the program.

  • We don't have a website yet, just an idea. Can we apply? arrow faq

    Not yet. The program supports projects that already exist: a live website, a public repository, or a working prototype with an audience. Apply once you have something we can look at.

  • What happens if the project shuts down? arrow faq

    We ask that you notify us ā€” the server will be returned to the program pool. This is fair to other projects waiting in the queue.

  • Do you accept applications from other countries? arrow faq

    Yes. The program is open to projects worldwide, the country does not matter. We especially welcome applications from universities, research groups, and student teams.

  • Can I apply as an individual? arrow faq

    The program is for organizations and teams: universities, research groups, registered non-profits, and open source projects with a public repository. Personal websites, blogs, and portfolios are not eligible.

  • What do you ask in return? arrow faq

    A public acknowledgment of BlueServers as your infrastructure partner: on a partners or sponsors page, in the website footer, or in the repository README. Nothing else. There is no obligation to switch to a paid plan.

  • When will I hear back? arrow faq

    We review applications within 3-5 business days and reply to those that pass the review. Because of the number of requests we cannot answer every application individually.
